The major innovation at the heart of the Milguass'incredible resistance to magnetic interferences is the shield protecting the movement.Made of ferromagnetic alloys selected by Rolex,it consists of  two  components,one screwed to the movement and the other to the Oyster case.Only Rolex-certified watchmakers will ever see it,but the symbol for magnetic flux density-the capital letter'B' with an arrow is engraved in this magnetic shield.

The Milguass works in magnetic fields up to 1000 Gauss,hence its name.(In french 'mille'means 'thousand',and Guass is a magnetic filed measurement).With its clean lines and orange seconds hand, shaped like a lightning bolt,the Milguass is recognisable at a glance.

One of the Miguass models features a green-coloured sapphire crystal.The subtle green hue around the dial gives the Milguass a unique,aesthetic flourish.
